Downeast

Just thought I would post a note to let everyone know that I, and my trusty servant Newt Verne, are off on our journey and have landed in a place called York, Maine. It is a little windy, but seems like a nice place to visit. Come join us if you can. Sorry I can't give you a wing, but Newt takes up most of the space with his fat belly and long tail.

Hola

It was a very light day here. The Queen was spinning a new blanket from butterfly tears for the King. He kept complaining that he wasn't getting quality nap time because his blankie wasn't long enough. Got to keep the King happy, don't ya know. But it's back to business tomorrow, so beware all you slacking toads - the Queen will be on the prowl!

Can You Imagine?

by Robert F. Potts

Can you imagine a world without witches,
A world with all people the same?
Where the only known dragons are hiding in books,
And children are terribly tame?
A world without magic would be sad indeed.
I cannot imagine the pain
Of having a world where there's no Santa Claus,
Where wizards are searched for in vain.

Can you imagine a world without spells,
That science and businesses run?
And think of the sadness a unicorn feels
When he no longer plays in the sun
Can you imagine a world without witches,
No elves, and no magical pools?
And can you imagine how dull it would be
If all that we had were the schools?

I cannot imagine a world without witches,
A world with no magical wand.
A world without beauty, or even a dream,
Or a wood sprite of whom to be fond
They say I should grow up and be more mature,
Like a normal adult ought to do.
But I'd rather, at night, go to dance with a witch,
And I'll bet that you feel that way, too.

Me and My Dragon

Would like to thank the photographer, but he's a bit fired up at the moment.

Happy Blogging Day

The Queen has proclaimed today is "Blog Day." We decided to get off our throne and update a page or two - you know - just to keep our little people happy. And are they ever happy! Ever see two pixies have a pillow fight? The pixie dust is everywhere! We've got cats, rats, and pigs flyin' all over the place. And you thought it was special when the Dish ran away with the Spoon ;)

Bear with me

Hello all you little pixies out there. The Queen has been trying to find a decent template to replace this one, but to no avail. I'm looking for something very unique, and, well - queenly! Anybody know where I can find an awesome template that hasn't been used to death already?

Changeling

This template is driving me crazy! One minute it's okay, next minute it's gobbed up. Okay, who put the hex on this blog...?

Blogging in the Blogosphere

Hey. I don't know what I did, but now my template has righted itself; that's cool. I can dig it.
So onto some blogging and discover some of that "undiscovered country". One very interesting "sphere" discussed a simulated environment that would fool your brain into thinking you were in Utopia, all while your brain is floating around in a liquid filled vat. Found a few "blogging in the blogosphere" type of blogs - did that make sense? Nothing really new there. Just a commentary of how people should jump on the blogging band wagon. Dull. Ho hum kind of stuff.

Deleted posts

I had to delete a couple of postings from last week. I'm having problems with my template - either the side bar slides down to the bottom of the page, or the postings slide down the bottom of the page. I fixed it once on Wednesday, but I have no idea how I did it! Anyone got any idears???

Okay, this is a repeat of my posting from the library, but here it is: I found this link from Aspen's blog: I may just have peed a little. This guy's really funny.
